Does my Google Form force people to sign in?

Paste your form's public link. We'll open it as an anonymous visitor and tell you whether people without a Google account can respond, plus what to change.

Step-by-step: make a Google Form open to everyone

  1. Open the form → Settings → Responses. Turn off Limit to 1 response (it requires sign-in).
  2. Set Collect email addresses to Do not collect or Responder input, not Verified (verified requires sign-in).
  3. On work or school accounts: under Settings → Responses, turn off Restrict to users in [your organization].
  4. Remove every File upload question. Google requires sign-in to answer them (Google Help).
  5. Click Send and copy the link again. Re-check it here.

FAQ

How does the checker work?

It opens your form's public link the way an anonymous visitor would (no Google login) and reports whether Google shows the form or redirects to a sign-in page. We don't store the form link; we only count that a check happened and its result.

My form forces sign-in. Why?

The usual causes: a File upload question, 'Limit to 1 response', verified email collection, or 'Restrict to users in your organization'. Remove those settings to allow anonymous responses.

Can I keep the file upload and drop the sign-in?

Not inside Google Forms. Remove the File upload question and collect files with a separate no-login upload link that saves into your Drive.
